Daytona M-Star GTX
This is the original raised-sole boot for shorter riders, from Daytona. About 20 years ago, Daytona made a one-off of this boot for Linda, because she’s ridiculously short, and Helmut requested it. Daytona thought it was such a good idea, which is was, that they began producing the Lady Star GTX, and later the M-Star.
The heel height is about 6cm. There is also build-up at the toe, but not as much. The leather is hydrophobic cowhide. (That’s a big word that means it repels water.) But these boots also have a GORE-TEX® membrane, making them really waterproof. The calf is adjustable, there is a reinforced gear change pad, and the heel has a Scotchlite reflector. Good ankle protection due to inside padding, and shinbone protection as well. The innersole is plastic-reinforced with a hot-dip galvanized steel inlay. The M-Stars sport a super non-slip rubber touring sole.
Shaft Height 30cm, Sizes 35-39 (If you need a smaller size, go to the Lady-Star GTX, which is exactly the same boot.) Color: Black.
