Helimot Motorcycle Gloves, Model Buffalo 365 Write Review Product Details mmmm.... buffalo... Sharad NYC 2/26/2008 | My mom bought me a pair of these for my birthday 3 or so years ago (I'm getting old, so can't remember exactly when...). I've used them for rides in the canyons (when I lived in CA), commuting, long tours and now in all kinds of weather in NY. They've never let me down, and despite the dirt and bugs and grease and grime, they're still going strong. Thanks to Helimot for a great product. | | | Do I even need to write a review? Brice SF Bay, USA 9/19/2007 | I mean c'mon, this is Helimot and Helmut in particular. OK, I'll be productive and say that I love these gloves so much I have 2 pairs. If you are to own 1 pair of gloves for ALL sorts of riding, this is the winner. I have done winter, summer, snow, rain, on road, off road, cross country, whatever you name it. The only place I've not had them is on the track (have H20s for that). I took mine back after a couple years and around 40k miles and finally had to have a finger hole repaired. Truly remarkable product that is comfy in all conditions.
It is amazing how soft and supple they feel even after a ton of miles. There is a LOT of padding there and it will take a bit of getting used to from a feel perspective on the controls, but if you can just have one pair of gloves, this is definitely what you want.
Anyone that knows Helmut and this company knows that he doesn't tolerate anything less than the best of quality. He rides, his staff rides and he believes in what he is doing and the quality shows through in what he makes. | | | Custom fit Dave California 5/31/2007 | I bought a pair of Buffalo 365 when Helimot's just started making them. Due to a right hand injury, I need a custom glove. Helimot's measured my hand and customized a glove to fit for a reasonable additional charge. Except for the obvious finger changes, you can't tell this was a custom glove. The sewed seams and appearance are just like on the untouched left glove. Great product even better service. | | | proof comes from the other guys George CT/USA 5/29/2007 | I have been riding with these gloves for about two years and to tell the truth I had forgotten how great they were until I rode the day after getting very wet. I pulled out my back up gloves for a 4 hour ride home. a very uncomfortable ride these gloves have made me into a wimp. I will be trying the pros and getting rid of that old back up pair | | | Glove Love American Rider Magazine Mar/Apr 2004 | If you're pining for something beyond the basic black riding glove, the new Buffalo 365 from Helimot will light up your heart. It's made of deerskin, which is said to be warmer when it's cold and cooler when it's hot. The seam design eliminates chafing, and the special lining prevents the color from bleeding onto your hand. Open-cell foam over the knuckles add protection, and two hook-and-loop closures keep the glove securely on your hand. | | |
